Didn't think I'd be able to go, but my other weekend plans fell through.
From some of the stuff I've heard, it sounds like Carlo plays a little outside of my personal tastes, but I'm more than willing to give it a go.
Also, I've heard nothing but great things about Jackson's. |

Thoroughly enjoyed this show...
Minus the tacky Halloween decorations and the stenchy smoke clouds I had to keep running into near the stage, I loved this venue.
The one gripe I have about the show itself is that it ended at 3 instead of the advertised 4. I mean, when Carlo was playing that last track (my favorite of the night, by the way), I thought he was about to really rip up for the last hour. No one said anything about the show ending, even though the opening DJ kept yelling throughout Carlo's set. He didn't have to say at that moment. I literally thought they were just playing with the crowd and were going to turn the music back up and yell "Where you guys going? We have one more ing hour!" - never happened, though. I don't why they didn't played until 4 liked advertised, but something tells me the overpacked room inside was getting a little a crazy (I walked threw it a few times on my way to the bathroom and that place was a drunkfest), so the TPD decided to pull the plug.
Either way, I had a fun night for the most part. |
