looking for some advice on a place to stay in manhatten for the weekend of the Prydz shows...

wondering if anyone here knows of any hidden gems that are relatively cheap but not complete holes... usually i come down with a large group and we all split a room so the cost is low but this time its just me and my girl... thanks

I usually just Hotwire a hotel, prices are always good and I've never once been let down by the place I get. Just make sure the location/amenities fit your needs.

are you driving to nyc? if you do you can also get a room outside manhattan and pay a whole lot less.

you could also check priceline and hotwire now and see what deals you are getting now.

Hey guys, for someone who is visiting NYC for 4-5 days to to do sightseeing, go to nightclubs and etc., do you think it's better to rent a car or use public transportation? Thanks in advance!

def use public transit... will prob cost you about the same in the end but way less of a hassle... actually it will prob be way cheaper considering you wont get raped for parking everywhere you try to go

what are some of the coolest placest or things to do/see in the city?? I'm planning on checking out the Museum of Natural History, spending some time in the park, and maybe hitting up the 9/11 memorial...

Anyone have any other suggestions or comments on the above?

def recommend Natural History museum if you never been.

South Street Seaport is cool on a nice day for lunch or whatever..walk along the water.

if your into shopping def 34th Street or 5th Ave between 46th&60th Street (bit more high end stores) but real close to Central Park if your gonna check that out.

I work a block away from 9/11 site, there is really nothing to see except the unfinished new building and construction, if you visit the seaport you should still get a view of the new building
