What is the difference between Trance and Progressive house??

progressive house and trance? well from what i know (which isnt to much) i think prog. house has alot more vocals in it and its alot more housey in sound.
but youll probably get better info from the more intuned people in here..

doesn't necessarily have vocals in them..

that spans from.....
progressive trance... to.. tech trance... to uplifting..

ummm Sven Vath, Oliver Ho represent the european techno side.. whereas u have the Detroit / US techno... represented by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Carl Cox to an extent, etc..
a deeping pounding bassline, with a different 'melody'
hmmmm u should download like.... some examples ..
Detroit Techno - Knights of the Jaguar, Technasia - Evergreen
EUropean /German techno - i guess Pump Panel - Confusion (Zamani mix)is..
but it kinda borders hard house..
