Yeah, heard him play at Jak Attack defm after party.
While its awesome that this is for a fundraiser and open bar (single malt scotch anybody?) I can't do $125 to hear the same Richie you hear everywhere else. |

| $150 is just too much for a 3hr show, even with Open Bar. Unless they just hand me a bottle of Hennessey, i would be too busy trying to get my moneys worth of drinks and miss out on the music |

| It's a fundraiser for the Guggenheim and they're doing this to attract younger people to become members. There's a big dinner the next night. The pre-party is open bar, he's doing a Plastikman set, and a portion of your ticket price is tax deductible (I think they are saying the "value" of the event is $66, so you can write off $59 as a charitable donation. All the info is on the FAQ on the Guggenheim site that I looked at earlier. It's really not that bad of a deal, especially when you consider what a concert costs these days before you even start buying drinks). I think you can also view one of the exhibitions during the first hour while Matthew's on, but I can't recall at the moment. |

| Also, the threadstarter posted the wrong GA price at the top, it's $125. He got it right in the paragraph below, but the top is wrong. |

I + few other people asked Richie earlier this year if he's gonna bring back Plastikman, he said next year. |

I just shot low on the single malt scale, since I doubt they would use higher grade single's for an open bar.
Actually the 12 y.o Glenfiddich for $39 is a good deal
I've been eyeing highland park recently |
