you also got to remember that quinn will be trying to play the best he can play seeing as it is a big event, the normal weekends are where he would probly be trying new stuff and seeing how the punters like it and so on............so this weekend will probly see quinn play the best he's likely to play, so he should definately be worth a look IMO...........IMO!
Bedrock
why are the likes of Gab Oliver, Kasey Taylor, Jono Fernandez not in the prog room?

I've never heard of Gavin Martin & Mark James...
stipsy
bedrock hang your head in shame...

sean quinn is nothing...

kasey taylor is somebody..

quinn sold out a long long time ago to the commercial prog sound (whcih was pathetic)..hes now trying to reinvent himself with a breaks sound cos he knows that theres a nubreed of djs such as tony vid in melb who are ready to take over his mantle...

you think someone like joof isnt as good as quinn bedrock but at least fleming isnt stupid enough to play utter crap such as what the by fatboy slim over and over again

quinn bags how oakenfold plays crap etc but the funny thing is half the reocrds oakenfold broke 3-6 months ago quinn starts playing it...and its true cos ive seen it with my own eyes

haha..if only i could find the message that he sent me asking me why i dont support his style anymore and trying to tell me that he was playing the melodic stuff when there was a backlash in 2000
Bedrock
I'm basing my opinions on what Quinn played at Delirious earlier this year, and it was wicked hard progressive sounds, not commercial in the slightest

so going on what you've said he's turned to in the last 6 months :(

Stipsy... u gotta chill man... The Aussie forum is about mutual respect for each other... I, for one, did not mean to say that i dislike j00f.

Bedrock: Mark James is part owner of Future Entertainment here in Melb. Not a bad DJ too. Get Mark James - Hear Me (Instrumental) for some deep, dark progressive.
Bedrock
its cool Mikrop

nobody messes with Stipsy's joof

its just how the promoters in Sydney wanted it. They didn't want a huge event in sydney, so they split armin, j00f, satoshi, jules and fortier up.

It sounds like the big events go better in melbourne than in sydney so i guess thats why
nervous
The big events in sydney have been lacking lately. You only have to look at a flyer for sydney gods to see why. Apparently sydney is so hung up on hard house they had to promote joof and armin as two of the best hard house dj's. It seems if fish, bexta,j.jack etc aren't on the program most of sydney doesn't want to go. I went to gatecrasher last year and watched every international play and the biggest room was 3/4 empty, the sublime room was packed. It seems people there only really want to see the locals week in week out. Im not bashing the locals by any means, but surely when you get a lineup like 2 tribes sydney this year why should tiesto etc have only an hour so the rest of the locals play the same time. It's my biggest bitch about the sydney scene. There are so many events where the regulars always play ie transmission, utopia etc. I would have thought you could get some internationals to sydney and just see them and not have to share with dj's you can see from thursday to sunday night every day of the week.

Thoughts?:haha:

Tranceilvania
Sydney sucks...Melbourne is a special place for Trance and clubbin, maybe its the weather:D :D
Euphorica@AUS
not really trancelvania, there is isn't a lot of trance really in melbourne, its full of house and hard house unfortunately.
