Trance vs. Progressive vs. ???

With all the complaining and flaming going on between people of who have different tastes in music. I decided to post a poll.
Let's all vote and see which type of music is dominant on this msg board!
So is it? Progressive? Epic Trance? or some other style of electronic music? |

why did you reply then? I think this poll is cool.
I like trance (all flavors) since it sounds good anywhere in most occasions; while driving, at home, chilling, and at CLUBS. Progressive is only suitable for clubs, I can't listen to it while doing something, it's only good for dancing. |

quite the contrary imo...progressive is awesome to listen to when driving, and its perfect to chill to...trance on the other hand...isn't well suited for chilling at home with your friends. |

OK first of it is obvious that people have differing tastes when it comes to music. Even on a board dedicated to trance we have seen that we can get a bit defensive about people "bashing" what we personally like. This of course should not be, as we should all understand that our differences AND similarities is what makes this such a great place.
I personally enjoy all types of trance and other forms of electronica. However, for me straight on TRANCE is what does it for me time and time again. I like "some" progressive but it has to be really good.
Embrace diversity for it is the spice of life. Don't flame someone for liking something you don't.
