So, I got the 2nd gen Apple TV, jailbroke it last night.
does anyone else use it? and can suggest something useful ? |

Is appletv that the thing that lets you watch youtube on your TV?
my tv already does that outofthebox. also netflix and hbo and all that other .
what extra can u do by jailbreaking it? what for free? |

how does it differ from Apple TV. Is it the same concept?
does it have a dvr function on it? |

| Honestly? I've used both and it actually just looks better. The device and the interface. I haven't done a full on side by side comparison but yeah they are meant to be functionally the same, though I don't think dvr was an option. With Boxxee I just plug a HDD into it and I'm good. |

thx for the info. i'm trying to find an alternative to a $130.00 a month cable tv bill. are there options to add additional sources as there is on apple tv? |
