as long as there is table service, the crowd will suck.

PS - all we've been hearing/reading the past few years is how cheesy Vegas music is (outside of EDC).

Now that Marquee books Richie instead of people being stoked he's there the comments all seem to be questioning why he's even playing. gotta start somewhere!

This is the truth about life and unfortunately even the music scene.

People complain, and when you address their complaints, they're going to find something else to complain about.

Props to Marquee for taking this chance - the club in Vegas is killer and Richie's set there is going to be an experience. Hopefully this will be the start of a new chapter in Vegas nightlife.

In Ibiza, techno and house is front and center at all the major clubs. There's no reason why Vegas shouldn't feature the same talent.

Dubfire tonight and Marco Carola residency starting oct 25th LV will never reach Marquee NY level

9 months ago, nobody would have ever imagined that Marquee New York would be presenting underground music every Friday, week in and week out.

Never say never. And be part of the movers and shakers!

Its used to be like that when Vegas actually had real clubs with full dance floors and minimal tables and VIP sections (Utopia, C2K, RA)

Artisian is actually booking some quality tech DJs in the next few months: Marco Bailey

I applaud Marquee for booking Hawtin. They are def going out on a limb in this booking -- but not too far out on a limb hence the late start time. In any case, I applaud them.

My only question is...will Hawtin play that "Eat, Sleep, Rave repeat" or Summertime Sadness songs when it is requested by one of the table service folks? lol

I knew about this show about a month 1/2 ago, did't know it was going to be a 3-5 show... was expecting Marquee too actually be like OK lets book some different music and have Richie Hawtin play from 12-6am or something like he did @ drais playing from 3-9:45am
