That's why I wear the undershirt, actually :p |
See, now that's something I don't understand.
Two shirts? More clothing just makes you feel hotter (temperature-wise I mean, not Zoolander-wise :p)
Hotter = more sweat = defeating the purpose, no? |

Not always. If you look at my pictures on Facebook, unless it's chilli outside, I'm always wearing a white undershirt or a loose formal undershirt - it's a trick I learned from Japanese women terrified of getting tanned in the summer:

Light colours reflect sunlight, and they keep your temperature a bit lower (nasty as it might sound, if you actually sweat, it cools off quickly and doesn't stain the overshirt); loose closes (specially thin fabrics as the one in the middle) are also protect the overshirt from sweat stains, and they're so insignificant they barely even matter temperature-wise.
Besides, it's either this or sunblock... and I'm too lazy for the latter :D |

Cool story, bro :p
I know all of these things. In the summer, I wear white as much as possible, for exactly that reason - Reflect that . I wear baggy clothes like you do... because they are awesome. Also, functional.
You can't reflect humidity though :p Maybe I sweat more than you, but if I were to wear 2 shirts in the summer, then I would be sweating rainforests, underarm hair or not.
A t-shirt is enough. |

I've found that if I'm likely to be exposed to both hot enviroments and cold (e.g. inside/outside a club) that wearing a singlet/shirt is much better at both keeping me warm and keeping me cool than a t shirt/jacket. I definitely wouldn't wanna wear an extra shirt in summer though. It'd be too hot.
As for the subject: I don't shave but I definitely find it a bit gross on girls if they don't shave their underarms. |

I trim my armpit hair on a regular basis. Like the other guys said, not for any cosmetic reason, but I just hate having sweat caught there.
I also hate wearing an undershirt. I feel it looks awful. |

| I shave my underarm hair about every two weeks. I like how it looks and feels. |

| I usually do both. I trim my hair and wear undershirts. |

| It's not really hot enough in the UK for the sweat issue to be a major one. I don't have particularly thick armpit hair anyway, so it doesn't bother me. There's body hair in other areas that gives me considerably more grief. |

| I don't have very dense armpit hair so it doesn't bother me. Besides, I'd worry about my armpits being itchy if I were to do so. |

| Have you ever noticed when you live with a female long enough your sweat starts to smell similar, or is this just me.:conf: |
