I've only heard the samples but this already sounds like the best compilation in recent memory. It even comes with a glowing review from Resident Advisor, for those who require such a stamp of approval. Fans of Auxiliary, cutting edge drum 'n bass and electronica apply within.

Sweet...liking the DnB, especially those Elsewhere and Es.tereo tracks.

I did try to order the CD from Surus but it wouldn't accept my Paypal payment for no apparent reason, and so I tried to buy it from Chemical Records only to be told I don't have an account, even though I've got an inbox full of emails from them. Seems I'm fated not to get the CD... it'll probably get lost in a tsunami en route to my letterbox.

Here's the Chemical Records link, for anyone encountering similar problems: http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/s...Track=HORO010CD

O, I need this.

This is bar none, the greatest compilation ever made. I'm frothing as I'm typing and listening to this release. it brings a smile to my face knowing that a host of artists can join in unison to make such outstanding music.

The ambient bits seem pretty nice but I've never could get on board with this experimental stripped down techstep or whatever you wanna call it. It's just so super surgical.

Why does Beatport have more tracks in the release?
SYSTEM-J
The release comes in three formats: digital, CD and vinyl series. I'm pretty sure the digital and vinyl releases have all the tracks, and the CD cuts four out due to the 80 minute limitation. Not that it particularly bothers me, as the missing tracks seem to consist of what Woony calls "super surgical minimal techstep", which I would agree are the least interesting tracks on the release. The only missing track I'd like is RQ's awesomely titled Sorrow Of The Hunter, which I suppose I can always buy separately from Beatport.

Oh, good, Surus fixed their Paypal problem. Chemical Records was charging several pounds more and I was feeling miserly :o

I wish the CD had the RQ track, as I've really been enjoying his stuff, lately. He did a great mix for the Auxcast:Phase Two podcast a few months ago.
