Soundcloud is now an app based music streaming service focused entirely on pushing big artists who pay for promo on the phones of those that wear caps and skinny jeans. It was always going to be this way from the start.
It is now irrelevant as a mutual following/feedback website.
Oh and don't forget, when you upload stuff onto the account you pay for, Soundcloud get free content ;) |

im talking specifically about porn spam but yeah, theres that too. Theres this one electrohouse guy that will 'like' my tracks within seconds of uploading them, every time. Some kind of bot at work there, dude is following like 7,000 people. I dont know it's all pretty sad
Buying plays and followers, how pathetic is that. I mean I get it from a marketing standpoint but jesus |

Me too. User77974608 started following me a few days ago. I sort of figured it was porn spam. I clicked on the website and nothing happened. |

I tried to use it, but gave up after they said that my mix couldn't be longer than 10 minutes or something. It kind of confused me, is it a site for mixes or tracks? |

This. It reached critical mass and is now beyond a point where people even want to comment. Also pretty much the only streaming platform that does not have to pay royalties. Smart little buggers. |
