This group, based in the UK, is pretty awesome. If you like their kind of stuff.

I love them, but what do you think of them?

That 'Cut Me Up' track is slightly irritating if you ask me. The completely lifted classic Good Life synthline and 20 year old rave clichés over annoying trap drums.

You think so? I understand what you're saying. I find it kind of refreshing, but that's just because I'm just an ignorant teenager who doesn't know good music when I hear it.

Yeah, that track is just a straight theft of the Good Life riff (AKA: one of the most iconic tracks in dance music) with some irritating "ravey" vocal stabs over the top. Scuba did this kind of thing much better on his last album.

The Stanton Warriors are a mainstay of the UK breaks scene, but for one reason or another I've never really heard much by them. If you like this kind of thing, check out the Plump DJs, Krafty Kuts or the Freestylers. The following mix in particular should tickle your ears:

While at the Shambhala Music Festival in 2011, I had the option of seeing Skrillex at one stage, or Bassnectar at another stage.

Properly, I checked out Stanton Warriors at a third stage instead.

Can't go to Shambhala and not hit up the breaks.

They've done many great tunes, but my favourite is probably a remix for Alter Ego's Rocker. It came out, when these electro/8-bit sounds were big in many EDM genres. Add some breakbeats to the mix and the result was a pretty big hit.

Yeah, this one is a great one. I haven't heard it in a while. :)
