logik
okay i have microsoft xp and it comes with windows media player. i dont know if its a full version of it. but wen it try and ripp a CD onto my computer and i go into the options and all it only lets me rip it to a wma file. and theirs no way of convereting it without this bogus software that overwrites the windows files and screws and slows down your computer. so like is there a full version of windows media player or just an upgrade i can get off kazaa for free and also is there any non-bogus software that lets me convert the files that doesnt do that crap that may harm my comp?????

okay peace.

I didn't get the question.........
r u looking for the full version of windows media player? it comes with XP (yes, the full version)..........

and WMA is microsoft's version of MP3....... so microsoft software encodes to only microsoft formats...... logical, ain't it?

anyway, I use windows media player to rip CDs and it didn't do any harm to my PC so far........
but if you want a good proggie that rips to MP3, use Musicmatch Jukebox........ it rox!!!! :D
