| I'll be there. I was thinking of going to Montreal to go see him with CID Inc, but I'll be saving my money for Digweed @ Stereo. |

Wow. Too bad I'll miss this one for Thanksgiving.
Hmm, it seems that Guy J and Hot Since 82 always visit on the same weekends. |

That was fun. Guy J delivers consistently solid sets. Not as good as the Kayama boat cruise set (which was out of this world), but he played a well constructed set. And hearing Lost and Found one more time live was special.
Officially on my list of prog DJs that is a must see, with Digweed and Hernan. |

^ What he said.
Darker Guy J set (well, dark for him), only 4 vocal tunes for the night. Quite different from the boat cruise. Maybe Stereo left him in a big bassline mood? Super fun to dance to and the 6 hrs simply flew by. I felt that I hadn't gotten my fill when the lights came on, though I suspect he could do a 12+hr set and I'd still feel the same. Judging from all the hollering the crowd was of the same mind.
Oh! Excellent job on the sound and visuals. Years ago the space (as Blue Moon) had that dreaded tinny, low-ceiling reverb going on, glad that wasn't at all the case last night. |
