| The score is great. It really adds to the tension of the movie. A lot of the rising volume high strings. |

Yes, it can give new emphasis to intelligent EDM. I loved it, I wish I can reverse engineer some of those sounds and put them into my tracks. |

Great flick! Saw it in 3D opening day. huge fan. not only was the visuals stunning, but the audio (or lack there of) was awesome. the scene where all this is breaking and getting obliterated by meteors and all you hear is music in the background and minor vibrations...very cool.
I was glad it wasn't just one minor event and then she just floats for 80 minutes...it kept happening over and over again.
very intense movie. 9/10. |

Indeed, I just saw it this evening, the visuals really were amazing. Until now I wasn't too impressed by 3D but this one did impress me.
It wasn't in XD so the next movie I'm gonna see I will be one in XD with the Dolby Atmos sound. |

Why is that special? XD isn't really any different than IMAX other than it's projected onto a smaller screen. |

| It was fun until Bullox was solo. Shortly after I was ready to leave the theater. OK movie, could've been better with some more action, people, and events. UFOs would've been a nice touch, too. |

Some people keep saying it has no story, but that's wrong. I was surprised by how much everything there has its symbolic or storytelling purpose. Even those incredibly long takes are always strictly subordinated to the narrative, even though their length could suggest something like a Béla Tarr film. Gravity is first and foremost a deeply humanist film about coping with loss, and more universally and symbolically about rebirth. |
Aaaaaaand, there goes my desire to check out this film.
I would watch any movie recommended by a 3 year old before I'd trust SpeedRacer. |

| I think GoSpeedGo! is pretty much spot on. Although Béla Tarr films are much more philosophical in nature, and usually don't suggest anything about loss or rebirth, but just the banality of an ordinary existence. I also don't think Gravity is so much about 'rebirth' as it is about the struggle to survive and live. To fight to live. Foreign films dealing with various philosophical subjects are usually deeper than their American counterparts. I'll probly get flamed for this statement. |
