Correct tone arm calibration and choice of needles can have impact in quality on time code. You can choose a spherical stylus for scratching and cuing or elliptical for higher quality playback. The white labels are good and were made for DVS especially.

this is so ing bull. you can use any needle that doesnt jump. the more wrecked the better. this is just midi, the mp3 and your soundcard + mixer is the only thing improving sound quality. another bull post about sound quality from you, just like your ssd statement. you never stop with your bull.

:p

Ignore palm, i don't feel like giving in depth explanation on needles, maybe you should rann.

I think he's just mad cuz he can't beatmatch for with the ty setup he has and is mad like every other dj around here,
clay
for audio yes its important, not for midi.

what do u think of gabber music?

Well I have to agree h Clay, I don't see how the needles can affect the audio quality if we're talking DVS. Of course they can improve tracking and accuracy but even then you wouldn't need a higher end model.
Juan Paulino
You can always get an eypitcal which goes deeper into the groove and brings more sound reproduction than spherical type stylus, Think on that alone. There's more to it etc.

Than you have the ortolan s120 with the T invention of having any tracking force while still having full sound reproduction.

But dvs records don't contain any sound...

You never heard a time code signal before? by itself?
Adam420
you mean that sort of whistling sound? So you're saying that sound is minimized with the white lables?
