I'm with tecman. How can anyone think the levels in UT2K3 suck?? Let me ask this question first. What kind of a rig is everyone playing UT2K3 on? This is a MAJOR factor. I was playing it at first on a 1.13 Ghz Athlon with a Geforce 2 GTS and it looked ok. I wasn't that impressed and felt as others here have that it was just ok. I kind of liked the first one better as I found myself going back to UT1. Well in preparation for Unreal 2 coming in Feb, I built a totally new system. An AthlonXP 2400 slightly overclocked and the Ti4200 running in AGP 8X using a BNC-5 connector cable to my monitor and using the ASUS A7V8X mobo. When I fired up UT2K3, I could not believe my eyes. My impression of the game totally changed. It is hands down the most incredible looking game I've ever seen. This is of course with every graphic setting cranked up as high as they will go. The level designs blow my mind. I was a huge major fan of UT1 and yes it had some amazing maps but out with old, in with the new. UT2K3 is what a sequel is supposed to be like.

I've had a lot of other friends playing this game on dated, half-assed systems that feel the same way I did. My suggestion is play this game on a high end system that can achieve a 3DMark 2001SE score of at least 12,000 and run any UT2K3 level at least at 60-70FPS with every graphic setting set to Highest then reconsider.

LOL so they say. I've had the BETA for over a year now and let me say the games kick ass :O. They keep pushing the final back though :(, was supposed to come out close to a year ago, thank God they leaked the demo to make me happy till the games out hehehehe.

I know Stassi isn't that hilarious!! I remember the first time I cranked up the settings and heard that. What a perfect way to describe this incredible game!

Its a great game, but the system requirements are very high. 3gigs of space alone is alot for a game.
