My desk is a dump spot for my monitors and i need some thing better. The recoil stabilizers are more expensive, the RX12 HF for my focals which is around 175$ or the ISO Acoustics for half the price which i think 85$.

What you think TA brothers?

what do you talk about? post a pic and let me laugh on how you threat your gear with blasphemy.
Juan Paulino
Learn grammar and maybe i'll respond to your idiocy.
clay
i think you should buy whatever's most expensive

Nope, the ISO's are new which is why many people haven't tried them. Alright bought two for 150. I also read the AlB comparisons at gearsluts, i have the link some where.

Don't forget that it won't matter how good any recoil/decoupling is if you desk resonates at all.

I beleive your desk has hollow metal tubing supports and wooden shelves (if memory serves) - make sure those shelves are screwed in nice and tight, the metal supports are bolted firmly in place and then one final thing if you can:

If the metal tubes have plastic top caps you can remove, go out and buy lead shot (tiny lead balls) and fill the tubes with lead. Your desk will weigh half a ton but it will stop any resonance and actually allow the stabilizers to work properly.

I'll be getting a 29' wide desk and have it in between two argosy spire 360xi stands.

I will be entirely ITB and have my VIRUS TI 2 Rack next to my hilo dac.

Nice.

but 29'? That's quite narrow - if that's all you need then fine, but make sure your speaker positioning is a lot wider than that.

I'm still waiting on confirmation on my sales. I can't just go buy without approval.
