Kind of a stupid question regarding Tiesto, but....

How do you jump from such a legendary and prestigious sound like 'Sparkles [Magikal Remake]' or 'Suburban Train' and then all of a sudden quickly switch to lame cheesy ?
Is he not ashamed of himself when he compares his old stuff to his new stuff???
I just still don't understand... hahaha I guess he was really just all for the money? |

| He's not the first one to do this either. Look at Paul Oakenfold and the most recent example would be Armin |

Well...he didn't make the music anyway. Suburban Train's glory should go to Ronald Van Gelderen not Tiesto. He declined when he started getting popular in North America but mainly the U.S. then slowly became part of the corporate machine.
I just remember him as a DJ and nothing more. |

And that's exactly why I get pissed off when people talk about "Tiesto sound" and "his" productions.
The whole foundation of this topic is pointless/null. Tiesto never existed, deal with it.
Many years ago I watched some short interview with him where he basically admited he has no idea how to produce a track, nor mix/master etc.
He was like: I don't know, I put some loops and a melody, send everything to a guy in Holland, he sends it back and it sounds perfect. |

True, but to be fair he might have had some say in how he wanted to present himself. It sure takes special people to want to produce great music and not want the praise, just money, and another to stand on the shoulders of that producer.
I also remember that interview you're talking about, crazy to think he had some person crap tunes out for him...must have been like Christmas every time. |

| Let's just say the bubbles in his champagne would have fizzled by the time he's finished crediting every one. |
