Hi all...
I was reading something about an artist who used copyrighted samples for his productions.. so I was wondering how exackly does it work?
If I make a trance track using Ableton, Nexus 2, Synth, Vanguard, Sylenth, etc... am I in trouble? and what should I do to release a track?
Thanks.

There is nothing copyright-able in Ableton, or any instrument plugins. These are just platforms and tools for creation. You only have to be concerned if you're ripping/sampling other peoples' copyrighted music and using in your tracks.

Technically No. But many people do regardless of the copyright laws.

Drop the attitude, kid, I'm helping you out. Also, learn how to read: I moved your thread to...

Production Studio
Where loops, samples, sequencing and (sometimes) vocals come together

(Also, if you use the search engine, you'll find out this has been discussed quite a few times already, and there was no need for you to post yet another thread about it).
