Oh, and it's supposed to hurt when you're working out ;)

Korea has really done a number on me. I'm like, 18% body fat right now.

Pretty embarrassing.

I lowered my caloric intake to 250-300 calories a day (5-6 apples and a salad every two days) and did 1 hour work-out. Bit of lifting and ~35 minutes of cardio, stepper and running-mill.

Lol, that's really dangerous.
You should definitely take some mineral supplements and some omegas++.
Your body is likely malnourished as after going thru that.
And it would probably help out with your skin problem too.
R u male or female?
U def need to get some protein ala meat into pronto, and start building muscles. Also carbohydrates. Gotta stop that ketosis process asap, if u havent already done so.

I've been the same weight for about 13 years now and never had weight problems, in fact I want to gain more weight. I should seriously work out more if only for health reasons. I start working out then I feel gelatinous the next day, get discouraged and give up. I need to work on that.

Don't feel bad working out is dumb. Join a hiking group or a sport /activity you enjoy. I don't gain weight either been the same weight since college.

I work out 2-3 times a week, just to maintain my fitness. My size + shape hasn't changed since my body matured in HS. I've always been active and ate well, but working out just gives me that extra something. More energy and strength - an overall feeling of wellness (plus strength training + body mechanics is important for my job to decrease the chance of injury). I cannot stand the feeling of sluggishness after not having done much for a couple weeks - especially now that the cold weather is here. I really need to buy new ski equipment and get back on the winter sports train.

I was in a fantastic workout routine a couple of years back, but I moved house and had to lose my little gym setup, I had nowhere to run, I had injuries and work and so on and I really fell out of the groove, never to properly return. I still lift weights once a week as a light session to keep me in some sort of physical condition, but I'm not really interested in some rigorous workout "goal" or routine. I also found that I actually look better with a bit more body fat - my face is naturally very sharp and gaunt and I need a bit of fat there to stop me looking unhealthy and ill. I just go through a little pattern where I'll have a few months of eating carefully until I lose 4-5lbs, then eat freely until I gain it back again. The only thing I'd like to improve is my cardio fitness - I miss that feeling.
