Amine Edge & Dance are killng it right now!

i really like the new venue, it blows the old footwork out of the water imo. There does need to be some speakers in the back of the club by the bar because it does sound extremly low back there. Overal im really impressed by the new space. Good job by the FW guys for getting this place.

on to the music, Mark Farina b2b with Dj Sneak was really good. Dj Sneak converted me into a fan.
Amine Edge and Dance were wikkid too, i went out for these guys specificaly... They dropped an old R&B tune at the end of their set, "i got 5 on it", i think its by BlackStreet... which I really luved because i remembered it from the 90's... and than the very last track was a Pusha T track from his new album... my friends hated it and we rolled right out... but these guys are hip hop inspired and so your either into that or not...

went to the minus blowout before, it feels like a new place altogether (only if they could have this and footwork) checked out ryze for the first time (4th or 5th time seeing dubfire this year so i left really early). was a sweatbox.... crowd wasn't as cool as the fw crowd. new lights made me nauseous lol.
the new fw location is sweet ( i need to subway it from royal york to get downtown ) with the new sound system its gunna be aceeee ! can't wait for ben klock! (assuming he's playing there) that dance floor throws me off though its almost like a maze to get there. and i couldn't actually tell if more people could fit inside either

Numbers on the Boards, its a good tune... i can apreciate it but my friends walked out saying that ruined the set for them...

im not a stickler for sound in clubs but a few speakers in the back will help...

jon jon, did u take a pic of me up front? 2 guys and a girl or was that stilez?

lmao nothing is more annoying than those puritan dance music fans whose nights get ruined by anything remotely resembling a hip hop, R&B or reggae track. Give me a break.

In many of these cases, one must wonder whether there are underlying racist tones in the total rejection of this kind of music. Is it because these genres are considered "black music"? One must wonder...

That Pusha T track is awesome btw. One of my favourite rap songs right now.

It's laughable especially because of the links + similarities between hip hop/r&b/reggae/etc and dance music. Elitist AND stupid. Hahaha.
