Live's PDC/Automation bug

Just experienced this tonight for the first time - or should i say "noticed it" for the first time
Had U-NO on a track with some PSP Echo and Permut8 with an EQ8 also - all good.
Then i start putting automation for the filter on U-NO - hmmmmmm timing is gone off, by more than 20 ms
So i thought lets open a new project and drag that track into it. I then duplicated it and deleted the automation on one of them - left everything else the same
Then switched on the metronome - lo and behold the timing on the track without automation is perfectly in time...and the other one aint :-/
At least i know i can shift the track in time to mitigate this nuisance - hope the Abes are working on a solution! |

They don't see it as a problem. Whenever it gets raised, they just say it's because Ableton is intended for "live" use. They had 2-3 years to fix it in Ableton 9 and they didn't. My guess is it won't be addressed any time soon, if ever. |

Wouldn't be surprised. It's a great tool but the guys at Ableton have failed to prioritize a lot of (basic) music production features for years on end now. |

Well......as it turns out i cant reproduce the bug today which is very strange. All i can put it down is some sort of weird Live behaviour as it crashed on me late last night
Still buggy then :-/ |
