Starting out equipment

I want to start to learn to become a DJ. What would be the best equipment to get for a beginner, I have limited budget for the time being while I get myself sorted and used to mixing.

For starters I will just be at home putting together mixes. I have seen a few DJ Controllers for example Pioneer DDJ-SR DJ Controller
would this be useful to start with to learn to mix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Yeah something like that would be good. There are so many inexpensive options for beginners these days. I just bought a pioneer ddj wego for a portable option to do house Parties Instead of lugging around my CDJs and mixer. So far it's worked out great. I'd also recommend that for a beginner.

2* pioneer cdj100 + djm300 still works today and can be bought second hand for nothing.
