It's also relative to the point of uselessness; The US is a very large country with diverse, respective economies. $50,000 in Denver would be very decent money, whereas $50,000 in NYC is really . That said, immigrant and racial minority populations are going to be rather centered in either coastal metropolises- Los Angeles and New York; consequently, these are the economies with the most inflated relative income and lifestyle expenses.
All this chart really says is that black and hispanic people get on, but we pretty much already knew that. |
