WOOOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got an apprenticeship as an electrician!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOFHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! (F=?)

Basically, an apprenticeship if u dont no it when u goto work and college together, one day at college and 4 days at work, that way you get practical expirience and learn the trade also without spending 4 days a week at college buried into a book, u also get paid and u know you have a company to employ you afterwards!!

I had a trial for one before, and there was me, and this electrical company with one vacency, they said "we'll give u a one week trial and see what youre like", one week into the trial they take on another kid, says we'll play u both off each other and see whos best! nice huh

So 3 months later ( ) after many hours working on £2 an hour wiring up school celings, me and this kid, they decide that we're both as good as each other, but hes a year older so he can learn to drive sooner, even tho they had 2 vans and 3 drivers already.
-Basically i got shafted.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo now we come to this, doing full time college courses on this electrical stuff while hunting for an apprenticeship for a year, i literally searched EVERYWHERE and couldnt find one! so i was heading for nothing!

Now ive got this im happy as larry! 4 days a week working £3.36/hr 40 hours a week 8am - 4:30pm (mint hours), crap pay to start, but apprenticeships always are, increase every-year upto my final wage of around £13 an hour, mint or what, and ill be a fully qualified electrician!! So not only on a mint at the factory think of all the bits on the side with single old ladies! ;)

Oh yeah, u no all them fancy shop display stands for places like Next, H.Samuel, Earnst Jones, posh high street, this company makes all them and the electrical side adds any electrical in them, lights, motors etc! so not a bad job either!!!!

sorry im just so happy!!!!!!!!!!

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I still don't trust the dirty sod because he'll probably come around to yer houses and rewire yer houses while yer gone then things go wrong and you have to pay someone like him to fix it.

well apprenticeships like this last 4-5 years, ive already done part one (year one at college) not that i know much more, but on paper i do, so it might be around 4 years!

This year £3.36, £4.10 at xmas
then again when im 18, prolly around £4.50, fiver next xmas, then after that ur guess is as good as mine!

this all shoulds ty but thats how these things start, aslong as i stick it out, which im sure i will, 4-5 years time ill be a fully trained electrician on £10+/hr! :) + now i get £120 a week and good hours and free weekends :)
