Listened to this today. Thought it was a good mix and hadn't seen it mentioned around here:

i love this . the transition to PQM - the way, headstrong, etc are amazing
btw, the weekend world track isn't "twister", but "round & round part one". |

wasn't into this much, i retroactively sought it out after hearing his sequential mix cd's - which are ing outstanding.
so good, i bagged a physical copy afterwards, just to gather dust on a shelf. vol 2 is great also!

Yeah, I remember picking that one up after I had been rather impressed with his work in Renaissance: Masters, volume II. Still stands up pretty well, though it suffers from 'early 2000's progressive mix syndrome,' which is a two disc compilation consisting of less than 20 combined tracks because each record plays out from six to eight minutes each (I recall one of the discs on this compilation consisting of only nine tracks).
Not a huge problem, provided the activity between records is interesting, and the transition into the Cass & Slide remix of 'My Lexicon' definitely qualifies. |

Those are nice too. I'd have to listen to the mixes some more to decide which one I prefer. |
