| the whole point of headphones is to stop the leakage. There is a tool that will do this and mimic different listening setups i think by the same guys that sell that eq as a fix all for sound reinforcement. Been out 3 years at least. |

the display showing how stereo imaging is muddy and sloppy while their spatial recreation which is basically just leakage at crisp and perfectly round.
i would go with the one by those arc guys. I can see how they might be handy if you have to use headphones for a long time. But even then, that fatigue or uncomfortable feeling reminds you to take a break. the great thing with headphones as a reference is that they are completely direct with no leakage. Not much help with imaging but in conjunction with monitors, they can help. |
