Powel
Really happy to introduce my headline guest for Simulations 021 on IVR Music Radio.
Powel aka Pail Chriske has kindly contributed a beautiful exclusive guest mix for the show.
Berlin based artist/dj and one half of the classy project ‘Lake Powel’. A combination between himself and long time friend Lake People, producing one of my favourite tracks in recent years: ‘More Or Less” on Fenou.
As a solo artist Powel has stamped his authority on the Deep House music scene with recent EP’s such as Cloud City on Fina Records & ‘I Don’t Waste Tears On You’ on City Life.
A regular on the Berlin club scene, you can find Powel at Keller, Naherholung Sternchen, Sisyphos, Kosmonaut & many other haunts.

Winter Son
It’s great to have Winter Son back on the show with another stunner of a set. He was my first ever guest back in January, he basically introduced me to the idea of inviting guests on to show, since then such artists like Powel, Fairmont, Pole Folder, Herzel, Mauro Norti, the list goes on, have all graced the show. So I have a lot to thank him for.
Most recently Winter Son’s latest track “Here Is A Ghost” on the This Is It Forever label was dropped in Daniel Avery’s now legendary Rinse FM radio show, much to the pleasure of Tom himself!
One half of Ghosting Season, Tom Ragsdale’s solo project as Winter Son continues to gather momentum, and also collaborating with Jozel K with recent releases such as ‘The Straw That Broke The Camel’s Back’ from Sasha’s Last Night On Earth label.
To shed a bit of light on this deadly combination between Winter Son & Jozef K, the somewhat unlikely pairing of two of Manchester’s emerging artists are creating live atmospheres of raw dance floor energy, haunting introspection & unreal live shows.
Really happy to hear that both Winter Son & Jozef K are gracing my home city on NYE at the amazing Pragmatik Sessions night at Earth nightclub, Derry.
Mauro Norti
I am really pleased that Mauro Norti is back on the show. No stranger to the Simulations Podcast, his last guest mix from back in March continues to pull in likes, reposts & kind comments even 10 months later. Recent EP’s such as ‘Return To The Cliff’ on Agara Music and ‘Placebo’ on Change Audio have been supported by such artists as Jimmy Van M, Tvardovsky, Beat Syndrome & many more.
A classical/melodic take on techno sees this artist continually push boundaries and promote the eastern sound that’s sweeping the underground music scene by storm. Watch out for more amazing releases from Mauro Norti in 2014.
