I normally never ball out on VIP or bottles, but this sounds like thee perfect night to get a table... ing drumcode brings the bridge and tun like no other. straight out of the woodwork. drumcode at pacha... the perfect storm?

So, how is the sound and crowd on the mezz? I've only been to pacha twice and had to battle my way down the main floor to see like markus schulz...

the thought of a table crossed my mind to for this, minimun 3 ppl, $100 each i think.

Its not like Beyer at Output will be any less crowded

To be truthful I enjoy the Mezz @ Pacha. You can stand right at the railing by your table and dance with plenty of room. Night and day difference between Pacha Mezz and Pacha Floor.

used to be at Pacha a lor, tho not much lately.
but never been in the mezz, how did you go there, VIP/comp/or what?
*******
lately they've offered those women-only mezz tickets.
other than for space reasons, I never felt much like I actually wanted to be there.
looking back and up at mezz is better anyway, for the hired dancers, :)
*******
free-entry v. ticket comments:
a) the pseudo-hard tickets, or the electronic RSVP are not necessary. Not once doing the pre-12 was I ever asked to demonstrate either, it was always just: "what list?", answer Pacha list. never asked for id or name, sometimes went without having either...
b) I have never been handed any sort of identifier, bracelet, or stamp, whether as ticket holder, or freebie goer, that would permit the inside staircase checkers to even distinguish between which type of attendee is trying to go downstairs.
At least from that, and having waited upstairs as ticketholder also, I think downstairs access is controlled simply by capacity, not how much one paid to get in. (once I made it in by a squeaker, at lust desk about 11:57, by the time I was at downstairs line, a few $50 door tix people were in line with me, no preferences
********
finally, I like the drumcode brings in the riff raff comment above.
For that reason, I'm putting this link to an RA comment thread about a Drumcode night in Berlin here too, some of you might find it interesting, but not seen on other TA thread that I posted the link on (those of you who did see or weighed in on the other TA thread, sorry for duplicating.)

I typically get VIP @ Pacha from comps. I don't think I've ever payed for it.

I've spun there twice and done media related business there a few times, all of which granted me Mezz access.

I should also note that after some really negative experiences I will never pay for entry to Pacha again, and I will never go there again unless I have Mezz access. No offense to any promoters or DJs that work with the club; it's pretty much entirely the bouncers that ruined that club for me.

wow, interesting.
only issues ive ever had were crowd related, no need to explain that here, I'm sure, but I cant ever recall a TIFF with bouncers.
how I our exp. can differ.
from the few times ive met you, I can't see how you were supposed to have been the cause for their overreach....
bouncer, like, cop, army, special forces is the type of job that attracts sociopathic personalities, as in Officer Palumbo, :)

Haterz gone hate! I love this quote from RA Drumcode total klubnacht forum -

"Drumcode has never been Marxist enough, eh comrades? Time to declare a great technotarian cultural revolution against those bourgeoisies who have infiltrated the party..."

I'm interested to see what Adam and Ida have up their sleeves for their 3 month stint in NYC (jan-march)....

what a crazy generalization...

your comment that I generalized implies that you read my post AS IF I had said "all cops, soldiers, special forces personnel ARE sociopaths", but obviously, I didn't. certainly that would be a generalization, esp. when those jobs were involuntary, as in mandatory draft.

What I said was "type of job that attracts ...[such people]"`
Where do you think such people (BTW, estimates exist that about 5-10% of a population fits into that personality type, with range of severity of course) tend do go:
charitable/help others/nurturing type of work
or
work that permits them to use authority conferred by that work over others?
really a no brainer.

Have you never wondered why there is such a significant increase in police abuse of power in this country right along with the ever increasing recruiting of cops from the military, and the militarization of our police departments (APC, drone, etc equipped fepartments).
You know law ENFORECEMENT
USED to be called
PEACE keeping...

That change in language took place about the same time when the WAR department became the DEFENSE department, pretty funny, cause the WAR department fought wars of defense, whereas the DEFENSE department fights wars of offense
(unless you believe that Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Kosovo, Libya, just name a FEW, were fought "to protect our freedoms" of course).

If the, not unapt, depiction in Harold and Kumar (we all knew such types) does nothing for you, maybe you should watch DePalma's "Casualties of War".
True story, what type of personamity does Meserve, as opposed to Erikson, have...?

I don't think you meant to say that all such people are sociopaths but it reads that way.

I'm a former sergeant and aircraft mechanic in the Marine Corps. To be honest, most enlisted guys are blue collar and simply want to scratch out an honest living. Of course there are some sociopaths, but on the flipside, I've met the strangest people in the house music scene. Marines don't care much about politics...more of a work hard, play hard mentality (sounds familiar huh...). Hazing happens but that happens in any organization with young dudes and a physical/athletic focus where you're living together. In the end it's usually harmless.

I have to say that I don't want to defend the cops, tho I'm sure there are decent ones. I think those ranks are much more rife with power hungry individuals.

P.s. I've read more military books than I can count, thanks for the suggestions tho.
