set is old but none the less great

it's only a few weeks old - 2 or 3 of the tracks on it are still unreleased. definitely check out their stream from the diynamic party at BPM from 2 days ago - FIRE.

their track selection is always so on point and they have pretty good range :).

these guys are the future - going to have a HUGE 2014. they've had nyc buzzin' since the 2 cityfox parties they played over the summer..

alright so heres the deal... already told a couple of you this privately but so everyone can see i'll write it up here too...

overall, had a good time but i got some complaints too. first and foremost the way the night was programmed was all wrong. secondly treehouse got way too packed. when i go out and spend my money, i expect the best. simple as that.

lets start with the programming. the way the night was organized was adriatique 12-2, stimming live 2-3:30, and hosh 3:30-5. got to treehouse like 10 mins before 12 and of course it was empty and the mainroom didnt open until 12:30ish. so already lost some time there. because adriatique was already on when the mainroom finally opened they had to start slow while waiting for the room to fill up. woohoo! more lost time. basically only got like a good hour from them. :( next came stimming live. which i knew from the bpm set would bring down the energy a bit simply because its live. it was still good music but it didnt flow nicely from the previous set. hosh was the perfect closer but it really should of been stimming to open, then adriatique, and hosh closing. or they could of split the headliners between the two rooms. but nope, they everyone in one room so of course it was far too packed.

so moving onto the overcrowding point. really did not expect that on this night. i dont mind it when its full because its good for everyone involved but not when its uncomfortably packed. there has to be a limit at some point because if your patrons arent having fun they arent going to come back. me personally will now stay away from treehouse on any big night because theres simply no point. theres nowhere to go when treehouse gets packed because its too small. atleast at story or space or whatever you can find a little spot in the back. but nope, not at treehouse. and what was the ing icing on the cake? the patio remained closed all night. i realize theres no speakers out there but i dont care if i can relax for a few mins without trains of people walking in front of me. this was now my third time here and every single time the patios been closed. ing retarded.

because of all this i ended up leaving around 4 cuz i couldnt handle it anymore. so i come to your venue/show and i spend $150 (just for me) on drinks and i get an hour of adriatique and 30 mins of hosh. you know what, next time maybe im better off just staying at home.

really not trying to hate here, but im just speaking up because if no one ever does then no one ever knows. i really appreciate all the hard work and great talent link is bringing to miami but theres obviously some things that can still be worked on.

really did not expect this night to get so ed slammed. only the 1st tier of tickets sold out on ra. wantickets didnt even get past the first one, so where the did all these people come from?
PatMcGroin
the i did hear from adriatique and hosh was so ing on point though! :eyespop:

Nice writeup -- yeah I never understand why they don't have the patio open either. How much money does it really cost to leave that open? Bartenders are cheap as . 4.79 an hour.

And why wouldn't they have Diynamic in both rooms so as to alleviate the overcrowding in one of the rooms? This is some retardation...

Seems a lot of venues that throw house music parties should sign up for Jon Taffer's services. ing clueless...

Sounds like a ty night. Curious if u were solo or with a big crew. It was crazy packed for supp facts but that night it didnt bother me at all. Some times it does but at least the back patio was open.

prob not... Iv noticed I get 2 types of intoxicated.... Either I'm in a great mood and don't give a about people bumping into me and walking on top of me, and than there is the other angry over welmed intoxicated. All dependent on substances I'm intoxicated on and state of mind.

Blows my mind the back patio wasnt open its great to go outside and catch a breather for a few... At supp facts some dude sat next to me while I was vaping some goodies. I looked as it was gerber taking a breather as well lol.
