you guys ever deal with them? Any issues?

I'm trying to transfer a ticket transaction and they keep saying to change the pickup name and all you need is order id number and pickup name.

However the seller says he was told he can give me his personal id, credit card # and a procration letter from him.

Any experiences with that policy? Erica at wantickets is def not acknowledging that policy.

are you calling want tickets to transfer a ticket to someone elses name or to your name?

they're trying to tranfer ticket to my name

they want to give me a note, credit card info and order id, etc as they can't make it to the event with me.

I know they can simply change pickup name but we want to do it more securely than me just sending them money cuz then they could simply change the pickup name again, without me knowing. This is a non issue when it's someone you know, in any case

So are they trying to call in to Wanttickets to make the change or are you?

at WMC that worked for me, brought the copy of ID, credit card, and letter to the venue and they let me in

trying to buy ticket from seller but the proxy form process that Ronal Ravin posted about should help.. it's just that a wanticket agent I'm dealing with is of no help.
