So I went snowboarding and talked a little with this guy about EDM starting out how his sister is a gogo dancer for EDC.
He said his sister attended a private house party Skrillex was DJing. She said "you're awesome" to Skrillex and he gave her a glare or a negative face. Well, I wasn't there. I just assume that this sister was interrupting Skrillex set and trying to talk to him while he was working. Probably didn't want to encourage this fan to distract him while he was playing his set.
Then this guy says he only listens to underground stuff just because he thinks the big artists are dicks. I think that's a stupid reason because those smaller artists probably can be dicks just like anyone that's not famous can still be an .
I have a few friends that have pictures with Skrillex. One girl got to meet him in a trailer before he became mainstream famous. And another guy who went on a yacht party with Skrillex playing got a picture.
So yeah, is he really a dick or just someone being a hater? I think he does his best to make his fans happy by giving them a picture with him. |
