So this pretty much completely unknown guy with only one release to date did an all original, hour long promomix and it's already blown up in the hype-o-sphere (#1 in RA's online mix category, for example)
Your guys thoughts on this? The vocals felt a bit gimmicky to me at first put the production on these tracks is fantastic and they're used sparingly enough. Obviously he isn't the first to use original spoken word vocals in electronic music but in combination with the stripped down modern deep house/techno production it sounds pretty fresh. I personally really like the tracks from 13-20 minutes. |
