| Shouldn't PVD be on there too? He's closing the mega-structure. |

Yeah, I don't think the list is complete. |

| There's like no room at Ultra these days. It's pretty suffocating to roam around. I was blessed to be able to attend both weekends last yr and the first was amazing due to only being half the amount of people as the second weekend and you were able to roam freely. |

Don't get too excited. Have you heard:
I understand an evolution in sound but how do you go from Tuvan, Status Excessu D, and etc. to full on trouse. I dunno why I even put an atom of faith back into Armin when I saw this. I'll either be selling off my Sunday ticket or just not going at all. Drumcode here I come. |

Something interesting I wanted to bring up. Last year Ultra sold out of Weekend 2 tickets January 31st, which just happened to pass by. This was posted the 30th...
Now my point is that there hasn't been the usual hype of we are almost sold out or putting a sell out counter on their main page. Which leads me to believe that they are behind schedule from their last couple of years selling out before January even ended.
Also take into account that last year Week 2 sold out even though their was a Week 1 that more than likely stole some sales from Week 2. Looks like the price jack up to $500 really screwed them. I'm interested in seeing when exactly they will sell out this year. Hopefully they take a hit and quit being such money grabbing bitches next year. |

They arent worried about it, trust me. They had to raise prices because they only had one weekend this year and they needed to compete with their stepped up production from last year because last year they were able to have a lot more production from 2 weekends worth of sales and they only had to pay for setup and teardown once. I still feel pretty good it will sell out eventually
think about how much people would complain if the ticket prices remained the same and they showed up this year and the megastructure wasnt nearly as amazing as it was in 2013
Ultra does what EDC Vegas does, they spend nearly 100% give or take of the ticket proceeds on production and talent and then make their money from Venders booth space and merchandise and alcohol sales
If they thought ticket sales would not compensate the talent we have on the lineup would be a lot less than what we see now. Dont forget last year Ultra specifically hinted that Daft Punk would be here this year, if they do get that (wow, how much would that cost them considering DP has turned down million dollar shows) then expect a total and instant sell out. Not that I care about them but the rest of the world seems to care |

What are the chances of this actually happening though? That tweet got deleted fairly quick after they posted it. Good marketing on their behalf but if they don't get them people will bitch even more. |

I don't have any doubts that they will sell out. It's Ultra after all. |

The problem with Ultra is the festival has way too many cons and not enough pros.
Ultra's production and location are ing badass.
But the premium price, cluster of festival infrastructure, and under 18 year old kiddos are just too much for it to overcome anymore. |
