hehe...
well... trying to make a remix of this great song... got the bassline, most of the samples, and everything... got the notes...
BUT... im trying to make a sound for the main melody, which would be kinda like the original one, but different... and have its own originality...
so what Im asking, is... what would u recommend me to use? which synth is the best? I mean...software synth... any ideas? anyone?

i tried a remix using Reason (v2.0)..
i tried a couple of different methods to get the ferry sound..
if your looking for an exact duplicate, record the instrumentation when it is soloed in the kid vicious remix and then load it into the NN19 instrument.
otherwise, use the subtractor with some sawtooth oscillators and both filters on max BP. or go to Reasonstation.net and search the refill section for a malstrom patch called 'corstensound' that is pretty close.
