| Hi. Got my djm 600 today and I`ve got a question. Should I connect my intergrated-amp into the booth or master on the mixer? If I connect into the master ... the volume is just TOO loud .. when I slide master from 0 - 1 I get way to much sound. If I use booth, I have to turn the booth monitor know way down to be able to have my volume-sliders at 10 where I want them when mixing. I noticed I have a screw on the back of my mixer regulating the input-level .. but I haven`t had the guts to fiddle with it yet .. wanted to know what you think. Should I find a screwdriver or something and start ing with a brand new mixer? HMmmm ... help me out here ... |

What ever you do....don't open the thing... if there's something really serious by opening it by yourself you may lose your change of gurantee.... |

| Hmm .. yeah, I know. But as the manual says .. there is a knob at the back .. that can be .. adjusted. It looks like a screw I guess .. can anyone confirm this? I won`t be opening the mixer .. just screw a little on this screw ... need some help to figure out why everything comes out so god damn loud ... |

| ok .. status when I use Master ... I can have my master slider at one .. and my volume slider at one .. then It`s reasonable low. Only weird thing is that I don`t get any readings on my Master VU. Anyways, this seems kinda wrong. It is WAY to loud |

| YEAH. That one ... because BOTH booth and master seems to be WAY to high .. at least I think so. Dunno why though. When I use booth it`s a little more controllable .. but I have to have my booth just 1 mark up if I want level 10 volume to sound ok low =\ Should I try to fiddle with that screw ( refered to as knob in the manual ) |

The screw on the back controlles the volume. I played around and found a good setting. Now .. more questions ( of course .. it`s me )
What does it matter if my master is high or low? And .. does it matter if my vu meter reaches red? Can`t find any info about it in the manual .. liquid, got any good stuff to say? =) Sorry for newbie-questions ... |
