Hey ppl just thought i'd tell you that the new track called Take Me Away by 4 strings is the latest release on video hits ....Bloody hell .. i was eating my weetbix still half asleep in front of the tv when i heard the tune so i looked up and saw "New Release 4 Strings- Take Me Away" writen at the bottom of the screen ...i honestly started laughing and almost choked on my mouthful of weetbix...not a good look!! :D

i know that this is yet another videohits-bashing thread but i feel this critique is very much deserved :whip:

BLOODY VIDEO HITS!!!!! now i'm all upset
webmeister
this track was in Paul van Dyk's set at Knebworth 2001 right? That was August last year....I think it's also on the Politics of Dancing CD, which is also a year old...

hahahaha
stipsy

the tv is off! no video hits for me!

However, its funny that they couldnt just start from 4 Strings new(er) track diving. Rather than use the ages old Take me away/into the night.

it was a really good song...
simple, but good
till it got killed...

Hahahhaha, get over it... Video Hits is . Australian commercial radio is , and will always get releases late compared to us! Remember, the show aint aimed at us goons who get their daily dose of the latest tunes as they just come out.

Although, i gotta give it up for Triple J last the other nite. Happend to play Kirty Hawkshaw - Fine Day (James Holden Mix)!!! I was mesmorised. Not only would i not expect JJJ to do this, but this was also the first time i heard the tune!!! It's blown me away.. possibly James Holden's best work to date

Ciao

shouldnt you be asleep when video hits is on?? i know i am! unless im rudely interrupted by my parents who seem to have some strange objection to me sleeping in!

JJJ is our only hope for any sort of decent electronica. I like the fact that they play that stuff. In Perth we've also got Full Frequency on 92.1 but they tend to be quite "hard core" with their minimal stuff or DnB. (DnB = Good, Minimal Stuff = Bad)
