I have my mic hooked up to the 1/8 plug on my cpu. I have my track playing and I'm trying to record vocals. Problem is, when I have headphones or when I play to the PA I can't get it sync'd right.. Its always off.. I basically can't record along with the music..

I've even tried my m-audio usb soundcard that came with Pro-Tools and its off too..

Adjusted latency in Ableton Settings down to near 0ms and besides some static.. its still fractionally off..

This is a severe hindrance.. any ideas on how to fix it??

EDIT::

Got it fixed now.. Adjusted the microphone settings on the PC to Studio Quality.. As shown here..

and TURNED OFF THE FRIGGIN MONITOR IN ABLETON!!!!!!!!

I think it will help if you use a audio interface that has aiso.
