Me and my friends went only for the Dome and it sucked that by the end we were dancing in a shallow pool of water...
great music still despite that, happy there was no actual techno in the techno dome lol
the vip area is a complete waste, except for the fact for the very short vip line which was awesome... i'm happy i got the 2 4 1 vip deal...
the main stage was rather impressive by winter fest standards...
oh and the weather was perfect and it was snowing which made it way cooler than any laser light show i have ever experienced |

Thought Sharam was pretty good. 11 was way too early to end that show though. I wish it went to 12 at least. |

Wow looked pretty busy. I'm happy for the event coordinators and attendants. Looked pretty good, much better than the first year. Hopefully it'll gain some ground and continue to grow. |

| If they stop catering to the mainstream, concentrate on the niche and have solid techno bookings I'm sure it could gain much more ground for a winter festival. Not with the crap line-up they had this year. |

For a festival you cater to the biggest possible audience. A audience that isn't a niche. |

It's a winter festival that's why they could cater to a niche and build an identity. It doesn't always have to just make business sense. The chances that the regulars will come out are more higher than the YOLO kids if they got class acts that appeal the underground music lovers. And, that way it could easily turn into an appealing festival for people out of town. Right now the festival barely has any identity. The bookings have been all over the place. Last year it was a 2 day festival, this year it was only 1 day. Last year at least there was some techno- Magda and Dubfire. This year there was none. I reckon that they concentrate on coming up with stellar bookings and the people will come out. |

You have a point, while DD is clearly about just bringing out a mass of people, Brrrrr can actually be something else. It would be neat to have a proper tech festival in the winter. Get some Detroit names along with a superstar name like Carl Cox for example to draw more crowd and we got a proper festival. |

I couldnt really get into Sharam, Lee and Hot Since 82 couldnt be topped for me....
it should go to 12... and since the weather was nice i think ppl would have stayed later...
this is a live natio/electronic nation event and even thou there is a couple of good guys working there its unlikely it will become a niche event...
any ways most niche events end up becoming more main stream year by year with more popularity it gains... |
