I don't think John is still a progressive dj anymore.

Hernan and Nick on the other hand are imo the two biggest progressive house djs at the moment. They have been loyal to the sound for years now, which will make for a very nice trip
Should be an amazing first progressive event :)

the other reason you really want to buy your Marquee/Basic tickets on RA is that the ones on the Marquee website have a be-there-bef.-12:30AM time limit, which can be tough to make depen. on your schedule.

john has ventured off into other area's of music. but still can throw down some prog (more dark and techno based sounding)

hernan is more melodic. some of it could even be considered trance imo

John has always played the heavier sound, even back in the day. From 2011-2013 he was mainly dropping tech-house and some techno (his Live in Slovenia for instance is straigh up techno). I also find that for the past 8 months he's been playing a more proggier sound.

Hernan is, and has always been, all about melodies. i agree with you about the trance part, cattaneo plays a lot of guy j, and guy j puts out some very trancey tracks.

The thing with this well stablished is that they have a signature sound, they can play more techy or more housey at times, but they will always have their trademark sound
