Jeff Mills plays tribal....?

Tribal sessions is the name of an old techno night from sankeys manchester. I don't think the style is necessarily tribal. Haven't been to sankeys yet, heard very mixed reviews.

I'm really thinking about going to this as I have yet to see the wizard. I think "the man from tomorrow" is his new material as he is working on scoring a movie or some . thought anyone?

seeing jeff mills is a no brainer. the man is a legend.

i have been fortunate enough to see the wizard and that was quite a treat. I expect nothing less from him this time.

Too bad ill be out of town for this but highly recommend everyone to see Mills at least once in their life.

Great night. Mills did not disappoint. The man knows how to operate that 909... Crowd was good but not great. Sound was off for the opening DJs but I suspected it was sound checked for Mills and his unique set up. As soon as he came on that crisp high end started pumping out. Maybe a better system than Funktion-one...

How's Sankeys? I'm asking because I really want to come down for Sven, but if it's gonna be overly packed, I may not go.

sankeys was pretty cool man, I don't have enough experience to tell you if it gets Overly crowded. Mills was my 1st time there, but I could imagine its similar to output. When you have someone of that caliber like Liebing or Beyer on a Friday or Saturday, its almost not worth it. But I think Sven will draw a real ass crowd and not the phony bottle service people. Tons of OG techno heads were there for Mills, along with some people who didnt know how to dance and didnt know who jeff mills was... there was plenty of room to dance, people are legitimately coming out of retirement to see sven. so its a toss up IMO.

True it may be like when Moudaber was playing the Terrace and the crowd thinned out after no heart signs and jesus poses were seen. I'll take the risk for Papa. ;)
