| I read a few posts on psy and I noticed taht there are a few of us here who are very knowledgeable on the subject. Maybe it´s because I live in Brazil, where the psy trance scene completely dominates (followed by the acid techno scene). But I find that psy is a lot easier to dance to (crazy breakdowns and no melody to 'pause' the dancefloor), but may not be as deep as trance. Although I luv the Tiesto/Oakey trance, I recommend ppl open up their minds and explore this genre that~s often overlooked in the US and Europe. Stuff by Skazi, GMS, Alien Project, and Xerox is awesome on the dancefloor. I dunno, just wanna here more opinions on this and maybe some recommendations as I only began to explore it recently. Recently saw GMS live PA and it just totally blew me away... hearing uplifting trance after a set like that just sounded so weak. |

yeah dude... ur so in lucky. i wish i lived there or in spain. u have those famous british acid techno producers (d.a.v.e. the drummer, liberator djs, immersion, geezer, etc) djing in your country every 8 months or something... it's like... man, i only get to see them a few times every 2 years cause they don't show up here too often. only roland keeps playing in nearby clubs, no chris or d.a.v.e. and that sux :(

| Yeah, it´s true, we get mad talent if you´re into techno. DJ Rush is here this wednesday too, gotta check that out. and you´re right about dave the drummer and liberator...they just luv coming to play down here... Lookin´ forward to Skazi live PA in two weeks, and just saw GMS and Alien Project a few weeks ago. You should come party down here bro! |
