Deepchild
Really pleased to introduce Deepchild on Simulations. Real name Rick Bull, born in Australia but currently residing in Berlin, this man has earned a reputation as a groundbreaking producer, respected DJ and electrifying live-performer.
Plying his trade at many of the worlds most respected institutions, Detroit Movement Festival, ADE, EXIT, SONAR, Berghain and Watergate just to name a few.
A raw, seductive and uncompromising style, Deepchild’s sound is unmistakable, ranging from decrepit synthesisers to renegade drum-machines, his production-aesthetic remains firmly routed in an exploration of post-Detroit machine music.
Releases on labels such as Thoughtless Music, Trapez, Sleaze Records, Get Physical, Highgrade Records and many more, Deepchild has maintained a repertoire of quality releases. Watch out for his upcoming EP release on Seppüku later in February, here’s a little taster: vimeo.com/85444024
