Mr. Eric, you wuz wrong, and thanks for that:
"Having Minilogue play at The Bunker is a dream come true.
This will be both THEIR debut and final performance in New York, as they are laying the almost two decade long Minilogue project to rest after this tour. In a statement, the duo explained: "We feel that the time has come for us to explore new musical universes, one by one. We support each other fully in this and are excited about the musical adventures we have in front of us." While the duo Marcus Henriksson and Sebastian Mullaert have put out many amazing records over the years, their improvisatory live sets are where they really take it to the next level. Genre boundaries break down, man melds with machines, and they launch things into deep space."
of course, ticket bought, how can you miss this farewell?
see Output site for tickets, use the ticketfly link, not on sale on RA yet.

Yep, I read that and died! I was GUTTED to hear that they were breaking up and performing their final gig together for the last time some time early Feb. But, found out of their US tour and that they were both going to be playing at some festival in ATL- I was reallllly thinking about road-tripping it there. Until, I realized that the US tour will be their last final performance. So ing happy after very much anticipation, and thinking for a moment I wouldn't get the chance to see them together, that they'll finally be making way here and seeing them.
Anyways, early birds are out- 15 (what a bargain)! Best believe i jumped on those fast! http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?576548 |
