I know that a lot of you don't like progressive music, but given that this relatively young series is arguably the best to come out of Australia, I though some of you may be interested.
It was an American (Bill Hamel) did the last one, but it's good to see that they're dipping back into the Australian scene for the latest installment (after Sean Quinn and Kasey Taylor did the first two). I've got the Bill Hamel and Kasey Taylor albums, which are both brilliant, and Phil K has pushed all my buttons every time I've seen him spin (four times I think?) so I'm really looking forward to this one. Expect some dark, progressive madness, with plenty of breaksy stuff.

Nonetheless, this album seems like something I'll enjoy, "dark, progressive madness". I'm going to look out for it...

Amazing tune, it's the Tom Middleton remix on GU022 yea?.. cos god damn, that dudes worked wonders. BTW, doesn't it go "What is that sound, ringing in my ears, the strangest sound, i've heard for years and years"?? Or are my ears failing me miserably :( heheh
Phil K is one talented bastard. I'm definetly gonna be buying this one :D Promising tracklist.. only know 6-7 tunes. |
