The Lamborghini Aventador. Listen to that engine rev and the way it peels off, pure power.

Ferrari's sound better and sound very distinct, you'll know it's a Ferrari just by a tiny listen, but Lambo's look ridiculously awesome! |

If money were no object?
Either:
Or

I've actually been fortunate to have driven both of them - the DB5 Vantage (yes, one of the 64 that were made) has it on handling and ride, but the 300sl is without doubt the most beautiful car ever crafted. |

To be honest, you can't beat an aul cycle through the park...that beats driving around in a car hands down. But if I had to choose, I would go for the delorian from back to the future. That was made in Ireland ye know |

At least get the name right: The DeLorean DMC-12
Great looks, for the rest one big piece of .
Only suitable as a time machine...
Most of them are doing what a car shouldn't do, not driving.
Did you know they made three cars plated in 24-karat gold? |

My neighbor actually parks his DeLorean on the street - it's his daily driver. Mint condition too.
You can see one of the gold ones here in LA at the motor museum. I don't think there's quite anything that says 80's as much as that Gold DeLorean.
The DeLorean saga was a crazy story. John DeLorean got arrested when his company ran in trouble, and he tried to bail it by major Coke trafficking. He managed to beat it without calling a single witness, even though they got him on tape handing over a briefcase full of rage powder.
He then designed the DeLorean DMC2 and to raise money to build them, he made stainless steel DeLorean wrist watches and sold them for $3,500 - that was the only way you could get on the waiting list to buy the car.
He sold of bunch of them but died before anyone received the watch or the car.
The good news is, if you want a new DeLorean, there's a company manking them out of parts, and they even plan to make an all electric version that will be released this year. |

Stumbled upon an Aston Martin show in Regent Street back in November. The whole street was covered top to bottom in these beauties.
Not a 'car person', but the Aston is one car which I can truly admire and appreciate. |

Crazy and sad.
Good thing is that there are plenty of spare parts I read somewhere.
Absolute an awesome car, looks and story behind it make up for the rest.
I saw Back to the Future in the 80's so I remember it well.
There is one in a periodic roadworthiness test shop (down know the right description in English if it exists) in my town, but I never saw it outside. When I went to college it already was there and that was in late 90's. |
