Anybody here know of a decent alternative to s(M)exoscope 64-bit for Mac (AU format)? I'm checking out Blue Cat Oscilloscope and it does the trick, but I'd like to find something simpler (don't need to view multiple waveforms at once) and cheaper/free. |

Voxengo span is great and free.
I also use schope but mostly for the phase meter and waveform view. Rme products come with a fantastic "totaliser" that I use too |

I use Elemental Audio inspector, it's the most complete and user frendly analyzer I know. It works in MAC and PC
It has a lot of tools inside
FFT Analyzer - 1/3 Octave Analyzer - Spectragram - Lissajous/XY, Vector, and Polar Phase Scope - K-system support -Digital PPM support (if you like standards) - Vertical and Horizontal meters - Stereo Image (Mid-Side) Meter - Balance and Correlation Meters
ETC.....
I really recommend this, but I don't know if you are looking for something more specific.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm looking specifically for a simple oscilloscope plugin like the s(M)exposcope, Blue Cat or Schope ones. I've got SA and everything else covered in spades. I'll probably just go with the Schope one. Thanks echo/Chris! |
