I got into Trance in 2003 – first year of my undergraduate life (LSU). Back then, you wouldn't see a lot of famous artists headlining in Louisiana, exceptions being Ferry Corsten and Gabriel & Dresden (thanks to Ampersand and Vooodo Fest in New Orleans).
I'm now 27, live in SF and happy to see known artists tour this city often (LA is better, of course). However, all I hear is stale One Direction cheese and sets lacking flow and nice progression (who starts a set with a 138 SvD-style track?). What a shame.
Having said that, if there's enough interest, I'd love to host monthly gatherings at my place where we "old farts" can enjoy decent Trance & Progressive music.
In the meantime, enjoy this 2005 WMC set by G&D: https://soundcloud.com/dssss/gabrie...sden-live-nikki |

| You're a few years to late for this... |

| If I lived in Sf, I would be there! Never too late for a good house party. Hosted one with a few others for awhile. Great place to play what you want and meet new people. Best of luck to you :) |

not so much into older music anymore (i've always been about the present when it comes to music). i'd be more than happy to bring cutting edge electronic music to your parties B-) |

Depends on when, location, equipments, and vibes.
I'm always up for a good house party and good company. |

| I have been having some at my pad. Turn out pretty good. I'm glad my friends know how to do it responsibly. Nothing broken or stolen. :) |
