Ecuador nightlife

Can anyone tell me something about the nightlife and music of Ecuador? I'm English and am due to spend a year or so there soon. I'll be in Bahia de Caraquez, Manabi Province (but I'll be able to get to Quito and Guayaquil occasionally).

| I have a friend that was born in Quito. I've went to the clubs with him and from what he told me, there really isn't much to see in the club world down in Ecuador, he told me though at the beaches its fun but its not like a club atomposhear |

That's bummer.
Oh well, I guess I'll have to go and spread the word. You never know, by the time I get back tranceaddict might be overrun by Ecuadorians ;)
Quito's a 9-hour coach ride from where I'll be - a long way to go for a night out! |

| The scene in ecuador is not quite good, sometimes they throw good parties once in a while but there is just not much people over there for it. |
